Edwards is committed to the safety and health of our employees and customers. Knowing that our clients value the same type of work environment, Edwards utilizes both a full time safety staff as well as the services of several independent professional safety consultants.
Edwards Inc. also makes use of the consultative and technical assistance services provide by the Department of Labor - OSHA Division. All employees are pre-drug screened, given safety orientations and extensive training. We understand that part of the quality in our work is the customer’s confidence that we perform our projects safely.
Our Safety Program Manual has been assembled to focus guidance to field supervision and upper management, providing specific insight into this Safety Program, and to convey our sincere commitment to work place safety. By utilizing aggressive loss control measures, constantly reviewing and upgrading our existing safety program, and continually initiating new safety measures, we have been able to establish and maintain a steadily improving safety record. Edwards Inc. has been able to maintain an average EMR (Experience Modification Rate) of 0.77 over the last five years.

Edwards Inc. fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (CCO), and will prepare candidates for the CCO tests.
