Industrial Fabrication Services
Our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication and finishing facility is prepared to handle any project requiring stainless steel, special alloys or carbon steel. Experienced ASME certified welders and quality managers ensure that all projects are completed on time with the highest quality standards and tolerances.
We also offer structural steel fabrication and specialty alloy and carbon weldments, laser cutting and custom metal fabrication. We fabricate structural platforms, catwalks, machinery bases, dust collectors, conveyors, tanks and specialty items for clients throughout the southeast. With two shifts operating daily and a large stock material inventory, Edwards is always prepared to handle fast track emergency metal fabrication projects. Management stresses scheduling and inventory control to ensure project quality from start to finish.
Fabrication Shop
Edwards fab shop and finishing facilities are over 100,000 square feet under roof and are equipped for the fabrication of ASME code vessels, carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, heavy ductwork and large assemblies. We also offer structural steel fabrication and specialty alloy and carbon weldments and custom laser cutting. We fabricate structural platforms, catwalks, machinery bases, dust collectors, conveyors, tanks and specialty items for clients throughout the Southeastern United States.

Finishing Shop
Edwards Inc. also offers a 28,000 sq. ft. environmentally controlled finishing facility. The facility includes a dust-free booth for industrial and automotive painting requirements. Pneumatic, airless, electrostatic and conventional application equipment is utilized.
Some of the common tasks in the finishing shop consist of grit blasting, painting structural steel, refurbishing equipment, automotive painting and body repair, and stainless steel polishing.

Automated Plate and Pipe Processing
Edwards, Inc. offers state of the art CNC plate cutting, punching and processing as well as CNC controlled pipe cutting. Edwards, Inc. also utilizes the most up to date drafting and nesting software.

ASME Fabrication
Edwards, Inc. is holders of ASME A, S, U & PP stamps as well as a National Board R stamp. We are authorized and have experience in fabrication and repair of boilers, power piping, and pressure vessels in accordance with the latest editions and addenda of the ASME Code. We are also authorized by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to complete repairs and alterations to code vessels in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code and the Edwards, Inc. Quality Control Manual.
Third Party Inspection
Edwards, Inc. uses the North Carolina Department of Labor - Boiler/Pressure Vessel Division for our Authorized Inspection Service as required by the ASME Code. Our working relationship with this group allows us access to Authorized Inspectors 24 hours per day 7 days per week. NDE services provided in compliance with appropriate codes:
